The team in the jumpers with the ammo bandoliers are seriously cool!

But that Sea Adventurer... now you're talking!

Are those actual work-in-progress photos from a reflock that you did yourself? Outstanding work! The finished guy looks brand spankin' new!

Thanks all for your comments.

It is one of my own re-flocks yes.
It's an old action man figure customed into a Sea Adventurer.
You can see from one of the photos that some previous owner had written the name 'Joe' in ink across his cheek.
So I re-flocked him in order to mask the facial damage a bit and kitted him with Walmart reissues.

Had this old beat up ex-flock head which I stripped, restrung and re-painted hair in black to return him to PH status.

Dreadnought's Collection 20190428-123039

Dreadnought's Collection 20190428-122936

Had a very nice quality Red Devil jumpsuit lying about so tried it on him..

Dreadnought's Collection 20190428-122830

50th goggles off a spare Ski Patrol set I had.

Dreadnought's Collection 20190428-122840

Dreadnought's Collection 20190428-122901

50th booties also, which I must are very nice quality as is most of the 50th kit.

Dreadnought's Collection 20190428-123237

Had an old Devils helmet which I repainted (the black trim) and repaired the bust chin strap with a portion  matching cable tie and a hot soldering iron to meld them together.

Dreadnought's Collection 20190606-194139

Steady on mate !! You still need a parachute rig !!

Dreadnought's Collection 20190606-194105

Here he his with a 40th pal in a really old redyed jumpsuit

Dreadnought's Collection 20190606-194416

Beret is a repainted 40th.

Dreadnought's Collection 20190606-194426

When I was a little kid, I used to just sit and stare at the WWII German soldier GI Joes in the Sears catalog.

Those were the days, huh? When WWII style German soldier figures could be sold openly in a regular retail outlet?

I never got a German soldier. Might be fun to try to build one.

Do you do the flocking yourself?
