Just finished reading it all Dal. My favourite comic panel has to be this one.

Deal sealed with a kiss, it looked more like a snog rather than a quick kiss if you ask me .

Thanks Rich, yeah she is asl one and doesn't like to lose! As for the accent, I'm afraid Steve is out of luck, as she was cloned from a Californian girl

CHAPTER THREE: THE DEAL IS MADE

Cover - Excellent image of Sakkara. Redbox's eyes are beyond creepy! Yikes!

p29 - Pretty lax security at BAM-HQ! No warnings if cameras go offline? No locks on the doors? Moody "night time" lighting, very effective.

p30 - Sakkara seems very persuasive. Redbox seems very confident in his immortality. Cool first panel pic, with Sakkara reappearing in the corner.

p31 - Ah, yes! Very persuasive! Demons have a way of exploiting our weaknesses, and I'm sure Sakkara knows all of Redbox's vulnerabilities.

p32 - Sakkara knows her man! She's got him! Even though I have this figure, I've never noticed how well sculpted the musculature is from the backside. I think your lighting here subtly accentuates the definition.

p33 - Ewww!!! This is where the possessed red eyes are revealed! Did you actually paint his eyes, or is this done digitally? Or did the fig originally have red eyes?

p34 - Well... the succubus side of Sakkara is revealed! And Redbox is speechless, which is certainly a rare occurrence!

p35 - Jake probes, Tanya observes. Good teamwork. The exterior of the cell looks really good.

p36 - I like the views of Redbox through the wire mesh. Even confined, he somehow seems dangerous. I dunno if Jake and Tanya should go inside the cage without backup outside.

p37 - Shoulda let her break his arm.

p38 - I read Tanya's reply as dripping with sarcasm. Perhaps that is not correct. Great expression on her face in the last panel. She's sizing up Redbox, quickly calculating all the possible ways in which to cause him pain... and maybe a bit of humiliation. Instant and palpable dislike. Impressive that such a thing can be conveyed with inanimate figures.

p39 - Spooky the way Sakkara circles. It almost looks as though she is weightless and invisible, operating from another plane of perception. I wonder to what extent she can read minds. Perhaps we shall see... in time.

p40 - Hyper-sensitive - good! Tanya will need that skill! Her super-mind may ultimately be able to refine that talent. Now it's Jake who is carefully listening and observing, watching for clues to find out how Redbox knows what he knows.

p41 - Let him out? But he witnessed Redbox shooting Poppy, and Poppy can identify the shooter... can't she? Or perhaps... perhaps Sakkara can read what is on the "surface" of Jake's mind, but he might have deeper motives. In fact... since it has been established that Jake is aware of the demon presence in the HQ... perhaps Jake has an entrapment plan of his own in the works. If so, he is treading on dangerous ground, but also, he must be very wily if that is the tack he is taking. Good "flashback" in the dialog to bring us up to speed with what has been revealed about Tanya previously. But... how does Redbox know this? That is what Jake is wondering. Excellent how Tanya is playing it cool.

p42 - Jake looks genuinely annoyed in the last panel. Perhaps for some reason he actually cannot hold Redbox.

p43 - He just admitted that he shot Poppy! Why is that not sufficient evidence on which to hold him? Tanya... looks like she's thinking... her mind crunching data almost like a computer....

p44 - Oooh! Sakkara rats out Lynch! Good!
Will Teegan play a part here? Hope so!
If Sakkara has unlimited mind-reading ability, why does she not simply track down Anderson and read his mind? There must be limits to her powers.

Your posing and lighting of the Sakkara/Purgatori figure is superlative throughout this issue! You've figured out the lighting and the posing to make her eyes look fantastic, which can be challenging with this figure. And the muscle definition is amazing!

Always like seeing the multiple uses to which you put your carved insulation foam walls.

This time I'm only posting the comments here at AMMO, rather than duplicating them at Flickr or MWD. There's more thoughtful interaction at AMMO than on those other venues.

Cover - Thanks Dave! Sakkara is a great figure to photograph, if not a little challenging! I always wanted to give Redbox an edge, and adding his red eyes seems to have done the trick

p29 - , ah well, Mr Lynch is a resourceful chap and getting rid of private minty to gain access to his computer seemed the easiest way to turn off the cameras. When doing the lighting for these shots, I only used one lamp, with a far distance away.

p30 - It is very much a rock and a hard place between them, both as cunning as each other

p31 - Yeah, she has been around a long time and has perfected the art of manipulation!

p32 - Yeah, she knows him inside out and knows exactly what buttons to push! I agree, her muscle definition is superb!

p33 - , I actually repainted the whole head Dave, the eyes were extremely challenging to paint. here is what he looked like to begin with.

p35 - I wanted to show Jake here observing his new agent's skills. Yeah, those walls have multiple uses

p36 - I am sure Jake can handle Redbox, although, each has a deep respect for the other.

p37 -

p38 - yay! I am so glad that came across! Tanya is proving to be a real asset to to the agents of BAM.

p39 - circling like a predator! of course neither Jake nor Tanya can see Sakkara, although Tanya has a definate feeling that someone is there..., As for her mind reading skills, I don't want to give too much away at this point .

p40 - Indeed! Tanya will no doubt need all of her enhanced skills, if she is to defeat Sakkara! Again, Jake is quitly observing...

p41 -As you know, Jake is not a conventional commander, he has always had his own way of doing things. It was one of the reasons he was hand picked to run BAM HQ. Jake is indeed playing the long game, setting up his plan, however, he is completely unaware of what Sakkara may have learned.
Redbox was away for a long time before he returned to BAM HQ and was a freelance mercenary for a long time, who knows what he learned in that time?

p42 - As you picked up on earlier, Jake is indeed a wily character!

p43 - Jake has his reasons.. possibly laying a trap!

p44 - She will do anything to get her own way, and to annoy Redbox will surely motivate him further into springing into action! It is possible that as Anderson was her prisoner for sometime, he can no doubt feel when she is close.

The trick is Dave, make the best of what we have for set building, they have so many uses I agree about Sakkara, she is stunning figure, I had to take possibly hundreds of pics for this chapter to get the eye line correct for Sakkara, but it all paid off in the end I think
