New range?

Has anyone got their hands on the latest range of Action man?

Not I, but they look better than the last and I want one.

They just popped up on my Facebook feed..so I thought I would come over here to see what folks thought. But it seems that we are all in the dark at the moment.
I followed the link and they are apparently sold out....already

I'm gonna keep an eye out as they seem much better than the t rex versions so I will probably buy a few.

If I can convince SWMBO I'd like two (one for me and one for our son).

But being hip deep in the remodel may mean 'no.'

The only thing I like the off this Action Man set is his camouflage uniform and rucksack.

I remember on the previous deluxe soldier the cloth beret was just a cover on the plastic one. Is the same true again?

I like the way he stands and kneels. Not as good as the original,  but nothing ever will be. The uniform and equipment look pretty good too. And even the dog tags are actually in scale...so all in all it's a much better job than the last effort.

At the moment they're sold out everywhere,  but that's OK as I'm skint...blooming strikes   hopefully they will be back in stock by the time get paid.

The cloth is stuck around the rubber cap which does make a tight fit on the head …has a tendency to pop off…

Are the arms longer than T-Rex AM? And by asociation, the sleeves too?

V. Interesting to see one, certainly streets ahead of the absurd T Rex thing !
I'd say the arms certainly look in more 'proper proportion' than the TR
I've got a head from a T Rex ( the head's the only usable bit really and I binned the body ) I originally grafted it on to a MAM body as an experiment, but I'm going to transfer it to a Generic 1/6 body which should kind of create a very similar figure to the new version.

It looks like they replaced the standard power team hands with vintage style grippers. You can see the standard power team hands had a trigger finger on the right hand.
