Delivering a hail of Lead!

In Professor Gangrene’s office.

Professor Gangrene is giving instructions to his despatch rider. “You are to deliver these secret documents and this map to one of my henchmen Armless. He is  ex-military and he is in charge of my robots when they are out and about causing devastation and destruction. They should be marching their way to the location where they will meet up with you.” Professor Gangrene tells him the location where to meet up with Armless and his little army of robots.




The despatch rider walks out of Professor Gangrene’s office with the secret documents and the map.



Elsewhere.
Armless is marching seven red robots to their location.




The seven red robots fire their pistols in the air signalling their arrival.




A bit later Toxic Robots are marching towards them.





Armless has gathered all the seven red robots and the newly arrived Toxic Robots to wait upon their next lot of instructions on where to attack.





Our action hero Action Man is already one step ahead of the despatch rider thanks to getting a tip off from a surveillance satellite spotting a suspicious motorcycle driving away from Professor Gangrene’s suspected Headquarters. Action Man is going to do a surprise attack on the despatch rider.




Action Man has set up a wire trap awaiting the despatch rider and waits in hiding.



The despatch rider is riding his motorcycle totally unaware he’s riding into a hazard.








Too late he sees the wire trap ahead and raises his arm.






He is thrown from his motorcycle and falls unconscious.




Action Man steps out from his hiding place, raises his pistol and mercilessly shoots him dead.




Action Man searches through one of the saddlebags and spots a folder.




He reads what’s in the folder. The piece of paper is tactical information: dates, locations and deployment of a small army of robots

And there is also a map.




He grabs his Gatling gun and heads to the location where he’ll do a surprise attack on the unsuspecting robots.




Action Man is getting closer.




He sees them in the not to far distance.





Action Man shouts loudly “I’M HERE TO DELIVER A HAIL OF LEAD!! Armless whips his head and looks straight at Action Man and says “It’s ACTION MAN, ATTACK Toxic Robots ATTACK.”



The Toxic Robots turn to face Action Man and they start walking towards him.




They are no match for Action Man and his Gatling gun. Action Man sprays a whole load of bullets towards the oncoming Toxic Robots. He mows them all down except one.






As this one remaining Toxic Robot carries on walking though the exploded Toxic Robots, it gets fired upon and explodes while still standing.






All the Toxic Robots have been taken care of but the red robot squad remain. Armless shouts “ATTACK HIM, KILL HIM, and they start heading towards Action Man firing their pistols.




Action Man swings his Gatling gun to face the red robots and starts blasting at them.






With only three remaining robots left, Armless starts to run away.




Two red robots left.




The one remaining robot is oblivious to what’s going on around it and still walks forward firing its pistol.






It tumbles to the ground. None are left standing!




“Next best place for all you exploded heap of scrap is the recycling centre”

I’m really pleased that you thoroughly enjoyed reading though and looking at the pictures of this story.

Wow! Much like the robot army, I am blown away by this story!

I am impressed by the variety of outdoor locations and camera angles and the large number of set-ups it must have taken to create this picture story.

I especially like the scenes along the pathway, as Action Man sets up the wire trap, and as the motorcycle approaches. That sequence is very well photographed and edited.

It was somewhat terrifying to see "the dark side of Action Man" as he executes the unconscious despatch rider in cold blood! When it comes to being merciless, Action Man and Professor Gangrene have something in common, perhaps.

The setting for the final battle is visually interesting. Is that an ancient foundation of some sort? Possibly from an old industrial building, like a mill? (Or is this simply the grounds of the manor house -- the "back forty" as we might say in the States?)

That was a lot of figures and accessories to take "on location." Did you have any passers-by stop to enquire about what you were doing?

Great story and photos as usual. I envy your locations for doing photo stories.

Must of took a deal of time and patience setting all those figures up , I loved it all , the Motorcycle part is a great piece of work . Your Dad and Ivan clearly enjoy making these stories , it shows . Great post Alex .

I’m very pleased that you were blown away by this story. I’m also very pleased that you were impressed by the variety of outdoor locations and camera angles and the large number of set-ups. Ivan did all the setting up of figures for me. I’m also very pleased that you especially liked the scenes along the pathway, where Action Man sets up the wire trap, and as the motorcycle approaches. That sequence is very well photographed and edited. We came across that pathway on the beginning of our walk to our main location. We returned back to that path afterwards. Ivan set up the trip wire and Action Man for me.


Well my response to you thinking it was somewhat terrifying to see "the dark side of Action Man”, well I wanted to show that even action heroes have a dark side to them. As for the setting for the final battle, it’s just old remains of buildings and a stone bridge on a farm near us. Your completely right there were lot of figures and accessories to take for this story which Ivan had a big rucksack full mostly of all the robots I was going to be using. The only passers-by was actually a jogger who had to jump over the trip wire . Me and Ivan spent three hours away just doing all them pictures and Ivan setting up each scene.

Well, Me and Ivan spent three whole hours away just doing all them pictures and Ivan setting up each scene. Ivan was very patience with me as I was directing him . Pleased that you loved it all.
