Action Man box lot Junk shop find and brilliant gift

A great find and awsome gift from my Son James he found a box lot of VAM pieces including bearded Gripping hands Action man and a few different sets of clothing and kit and some nice booklets and paperwork it's always really nice to get such a fantastic treat from my brilliant caring Son here are some of the pieces that were in the box Cheers Son

And here he is wearing the British Infantry Set inluding original Sten Magazine and Victoria Cross medal

All that looks really minty too . Amazing this stuff still showing up in Junk shops and the like .

The British Infantry looks great, Ian! As Chip said nice and minty. That set wasn't on shelves long
here and are extremely hard to find, especially the medal.

Yes it was pretty good only problem was the press studs had gomne all white and powdery so needed to change those for new ones and a couple of stitches in some pieces of clothing but great find James was at the right time the lady in the junk shop had just got it in and was sorting it out on the counter

Thanks Daryl He's great in this uniform I did notice that the elasticated putties hes wearing are black and not the green ones I would have expected, Hasbro's GI Joe also made a similar version to this in the Action Soldiers of the World series but on this, he was a British Commando and not British Infantry like this Action Man version also the Joe version had the Sour face and not the traditional Scarface of GI Joe but I understand that this range at the time wasn't popular over there but well sought after nowadays

Some Guns and Rifles amongst this lot including 2 Sterlings and a Sten with the original magazines
