PostSubject: ...THE SEAWOLF EXPLORER Mod   Thu Mar 28, 2013 11:56 am

After Much thought Ive Finaly decided which way to go with the wolf im gonna take it apart (as its truley beggered) then repaint it ,,

The plan is to build a sea wolf tough enough to survive real dives with a few mods, but looks like the origonal

I want it to look almost the same as a bog standard wolf but with a few mods ,the nose will carry a working dive tourch and i plan to fit a strobe light to the back some where,

I also need to fit some sort of mech to alow me to fill/purge it with air to compensate its boyancy,,

sounds complicated but im planning on taking it out regualy into the abiss and beyond breaking new ground for Actionmen all over the world,,lol

as i said its already past its best,,but i need help....

I'm wondering if someone on here has the tech to build me a water proof replacement rudder for the back as mine is long gone

I also need a new set of transfers for it ,,it will be sprayed anyway so i can seal them in with varnish,,

if anyone is able to help pm me with costs etc ,i will be very gratfull

Sounds a bit mad i know ,,,

but im completley serious about this as you have seen from previous photos its already done a couple of test dives ......

one of the things it will also carry is my Go pro camera on its nose ,

I will try to get some build photos done as i go along too this is open to discussion if anyone has any ideas..

i also need to develop a new explorer to join Sir Henrys team of Master Divers and to pilot the sub ,

Im quite taken with spiffy stew at the minute so there might be a bit of artisic license here and then theres a certain blackpool based

collection im quite envious of,,,lol

,,,,,Que coleville .... I said Que bloody que coleville

Hey Reddog,
So what colour are you planning to repaint the Wolf?

I might be able to help you with a replacement rudder I think I have an original one around somewhere and also the top section of the periscope which appears for be missing in your photos.

I can also produce you a set of decals if you like were you thinking straight repros of the original decals or something more individual?

Drop me a PM and we can discuss details.

Cheers

Winch
