Just a couple of pictures of my newly acquired boxed Scorpion Tank, I have never owned one as a collector but did get one for the Xmas of 1980 so thought it was time to add one. I got the opportunity to get a mint boxed one plus a very good tank commander so I grabbed it with both hands.

Thanks, it was only a quick five minute job while the kids are still asleep, will hopefully come up with something better at some stage.

Well done. Cracking buy. I had one as a kid too. Is your box the early or later more colorful one? Would like to see a picture of it.

Here you go mate, I have also included a picture of the Tank Commander I got with it, the figure has beard rub and i have stuck some repro hands on him but the uniform is as good as it gets, I do need a headset anf flare gun if any fellow collector can help out. I am well chuffed with it, especially considering I only parted with £25 for it, Clint is watching over it so it should be ok.

Good for you mate, I wish I still had some of my Action Man from my childhood. A friend of mine has one he had as a child, it's pretty beat up and dirty, however he refuses to clean/repair it plus it sits in pride of place in his collection.

There are quite a few collectors like that mate, I do not blame them at all. For me I had a lot of fun re building my childhood talking commander, who is now my avatar Very Happy

Cracking tank, I never had one as a kid and doubt I'll get one now as space is a constraint. What scale is the Panther in the B/W shot, is it 1/6 or smaller?

It is a 1/16 scale fully remote controlled tank, full suspension etc a great piece of kit. I have some ideas to integrate it into a short film featuring a tank battle with the Scorpion tank. Space is an issue for me to, however when I had the chance to get this for the price it was a no brainer
