Sofa build.

I started off by using an old cupboard (chip board) I fist marked a wood

bottom piece x 2 - 10" x 5"

side pieces x 2 - 5" x 4.5"

back piece - 10" x 4"

after cutting all the pieces, I then glued it together using no nails and held it all in place using a series of clamp. I left it 24 hrs before removing the clamps.

Note - before attaching the clamps, remember to slightly angle the back piece.

Once it had its basic shape, I covered the whole sofa with a padding. A very thin and flexible foam. The same effect could be done by using bubble wrap.

The covering was done by stapling a covering of material, stretching it across the sofa. A better effect than mine could be achieved by using just one piece of material.

No probs mate thats a great job youve done there, I like what youve done with the paneling on the walls and floor, also the view from the windows is very clever its good to see these jobs as they progress, it's something else that I would like to have a go at but I've given myself a few too many projects at the moment so have a lot up in the air, and a lot of unfinished bits Embarassed will have to get my finger out Shocked lol!
