I was too young to remember these and we only had CBC when I was born and for years after... But looking back now I love these type of shows.... they are so pure and no voice over computer garbage..... I do remember Benny Hill ????? I think that was his name I started to watch that after I moved on from home.. They were re runs of course but still funny...

I also remember mom and dad watching a show in a department store with a lady who had pink or blue hair???? and a show of an older couple who the wife thought she was royalty??? and pronounced her name differently than everyone else " bouquet " or something like that... her husband was so funny.... very quiet gent... the show also had another couple with a heavy set guy who drank beers all the time???? Maybe you guys could shed some light on these shows

Len

Len

the Department Store was from " Are You Being Served " and the character you refer to was Mrs Slocombe

the other show was " Keeping Up Appearances " and the character was Hyacinth Bucket ( pronounced Bouquet ), her quiet husband was Richard and the heavy set guy was her brother in law Onslow
