PostSubject: Sparky's (Mark's) Collection   Mon Nov 19, 2012 10:44 pm

Well I've been collecting for a couple of years and my collecting covers all the ages. My VAM are far from int but hey I get a lot of fun from them and so do my four year old and twelve year old kids.

The first figure I bought.

Loved the MP as a kid.

This is my medic in my cherilea Jeep. Realise I need the white helmet and different arm bands for this fella.

My Commando with the rare popper jacket and cherilea canoe. had one of these as a kid too

Loved the British infantry as a kid and the bren too.

My favorite all time vehicle is the snow CAT. When I was ten my brother too me to a toy shop and said I could have anything I chose the snow CAT. I need a windscreen though.

The Arctic marine is another favorite of mine.

made a batman cape our of my origional Red Devil!!!

Some nice figures Mark. Your collection is almost similar to mine. Envious of your commando, mine has the zip. Hows your deep sea diver going?Mine needs a glove and a weight belt wouldn't go amiss and of course the helmet is missing the red valve. Haven't got my ski patrol outfit yet but its coming, just the helmet is missing its chin strap and the badge is a repro. And after seeing you ask about the commando comics I've now got some coming as well. We really do have alot in common, must be a Gemini thing LOL Laughing
I can see why you like the snow cat, its pretty cool even without the windshield and your artic rm is mint mate well done. Very Happy

Thanks Ross. Much appreaciated mate. Hey Ray. Very happy to have lots in common with you and your collection mate. I've got a spare DSD weight belt you can have. Do t know how much postage would be to NZ though?? I'll find out when I'm at the post office. I need to bag up some stuff for Ross too though crazily busy at the moment.

Forgot to say Ray. My DSD is hidden somewhere in Jemma's room as its an Xmas present from her :-) He's complete now thanks to Danny. I've got a tap I cut out of a broken helmet from eBay and when my dad brings over his dremil this weekend I'll drill out the old one and viola! I love my commando too though just afte taking the photo Jemma stood on the M60 and broke the top part of the bipod. I had a spare though! When I fitted the legs to it I hadn't realised how they were supposed to attach and broke my spare too :-( so if anyone had a spare bit that attaches to the gun???

Great collection mate, really like your stormtrooper and his added goggles, DAK looks great, and the para with the copter is fantastic. If i remember correctly there was a picture of your little one with the para with "camo" (chocolate) on her face Laughing

Great collection buddy, keep up the good work Wink

Mark

Wow how your collection is growing... I lik the attention to detail you have many rare parts in there and you are slowly getting the SOTC figures together Smile

Very well done mate

I love to see a really cared for collection of Accys Wink

Keep going my friend it reminds me of my collection when i found my old Tommy in the loft and so bits and pieces slowly you get things together and its so annoying because you always need something to finish someone !!!!

I have around 300 of the buggers now and STILL SOMEONE BLOOMING NEEDS SOMETHING !!!!!!! No

But thats the joy of collecting soon as you complete one theres always another pale
