I picked up this Knockoff last year; and he’s had a few iterations. Initially he was a civil war soldier:

Fairland Toys Bruce Action B48-E909-A-795-D-4-FBF-8-A2-E-0-B53-B88-DAFB4

Then a nondescript Cold War era soldiers or mercenary:

I picked up a 21st century mercenary camo jacket, so now he has more of a French Foreign Legion or Rhodesian look to him:

I for one like his current iteration! He looks great in the 21C Mercenary Rhodesian camo shirt!

I personally am not too familiar with the Bruce Action figure, but I'm guessing it was in the '70's
due to the flocking.

Great looking figure Nate!

The vest is from the soldiers of the world Korean War Marine Corps bazooka team set. (I believe the loader set in particular). This type of vest was used by bazooka and mortar teams to carry ammunition. I think the BBi mortar figure came with a similar (and nicer) vest.

Yes, SOTW from about 2002-2005 was on par with DML and BBi. Here are the two sets in question.

SOTW Korean War Bazooka loader:

BBi Red Parker. This is the box photo showing two of them working the mortar. The figure is a half-decent John Wayne sculpt.

Decided to give him a shoulder holster and pair of binoculars.

That was a good decision on giving him a shoulder holster and pair of binoculars. You can’t go wrong with a pair of binoculars in my opinion Wink
