Ok,I'm trying not to put the cart before the horse here....But,I am bidding on this Action Man Astronaut unit from the UK..VAM Astronaut Unit %2524%2528KGrHqVHJDkFJB2jJ%2528lmBSWrpnlsrQ%257E%257E60_1..I hope that I win the auction...So far so good...The winning bid will be alot cheaper than the over seas shipping....I picked up this spare space helicopter last year in another lot...It came with only one control arm...So it sat in my bin of astronaut stuff....In the hopes that I do win the auction,I decided to make some custom arms for it Using the same hard black plastic stock that I used for my DP Jeep repairs...I traced the first one...VAM Astronaut Unit Pic-11262013-014I decided to make them longer than the stock arms to give my astronaut more arm room....VAM Astronaut Unit Pic-11262013-020I drilled out the holes in the arms so they would look like the stock arms..I was very careful when I drilled out the connection holes...If they were too big...It would have been a lot of work for notVAM Astronaut Unit Pic-11262013-021They fit snugly !! cheers  VAM Astronaut Unit Pic-11262013-025I tried it on one of my othe packs and it's a great fit...Much better with the longer control arms !!VAM Astronaut Unit Pic-11262013-022Now just have to find some silver/gray paint and I will be in business.....Walt VAM Astronaut Unit Pic-11262013-023

One Day left to the UK Ebay auction...I'm still the only bidder holding @ $1.40....
