| Always on the look out to increase his platoon's fire power, Joe was mightily impressed when he saw this in the 21st century catalogue.  Modelled by Saddam Hussain, it looks a beast of a weapon!  Just the sort of thing a self respecting VAM platoon leader needs.  ..so off to ebay he went and although it didn't say '21st century' in the listings, how many 1/6th MK-19 Automatic Grenade Launchers can their be? _________________  Life moves pretty fast. | Yes I would be mightily impressed if I seen the MK-19 Automatic Grenade Launcher in the 21st century catalogue with photos shown like that. Now it may look Pathetic to Barry but to me it still looks like it could kick ass. I’m glad he still did a test fire with it. I'm also liking the comic strip you have made somekindajoe, very well done.

| Formative Toys, makers of the Soldiers of the World line of 12" action figures, also made an Mk. 19 auto grenade launcher that shows up on E-bay once in a while. It's fairly close in quality to the 21st Century model, with maybe a few less separate parts IIRC. Used in a diorama it would be equally decent-looking with yer Action men and/or GI Joes! Or, if ya want to get radical, it would look great with yer Soldiers of the World figures too! |

| UPDATE! Thanks to a very generous Andy(ak615), Joe's platoon now have a 'real' MK-19!  After the earlier false start this 21st Century weapon really is a beast!  No size issues or feelings of inadequacies with this baby!   You can just tell this packs quite a punch!   Down range MAM beware!!  Actually after accusations of racism towards MAM (see earlier in this thread) SKJ HQ has addressed the problem by erecting a warning sign!  _________________ Life moves pretty fast. | When it comes to the US tripods, the single, "little" leg goes toward the enemy. The two longer legs are closest to Joe or A/M because there is supposed to be an "elevating and traversing mechanism" that steadies the guns on the bar connecting the two rear legs. |

Practicalities mate, practicalities! The tripod is round the correct way in a few of the shots but AM's limited articulation means there was no way I could get him sitting behind the gun without reversing the tripod. ...call it artistic license!  _________________ Life moves pretty fast.
