Blue goggles Empty
PostSubject: Blue goggles   Blue goggles Icon_minitimeWed Sep 10, 2014 5:00 pm

Amongst my stuff I have a pair of blue plastic goggles.

Identical to the early green with a white rim elasticated strap goggles.

I assumed these were a knock off item, but recently on E Bay I have seen a couple of pairs of these listed as Action Man items, a pair sold last week for over £16 so I assume they must be something special.

Any idea what they are from? I cannot find reference to any thing similar anything in my books.

Hello PH, I was wondering about the blue goggles myself and thought they were from the G.I JOE search for the yeti set but are not. There are repro's out there as in this first link, also a bit about them on the second link if you scroll down.  (between the air security helmet and the treasure chest) . this is as far as my search has taken me, i am sure someone will be along that knows a lot more about them, hope this helps. Very Happy

Do you mean goggles like these?..

Mine were already painted with white trim, but not very well, so I repainted them and replaced the white knackered elastic. I thought mine were knock off goggles??

They're not G.I. Joe.

I seem to remember some mention that they might be a German or Italian licensed product but I'm inclined to believe that like the light brown jackboots they are a good quality knockoff.
