I was talking about maybe buying a AM Sunny Smiles Tank loose for $65 + shipping.....My Yahoo Friend MG told me to hold off so he could see what he had....He found one!! He sent it out to me this morning with tracking!! cheers I'm going to have to find something Nice to send him....Wally

walt i am no great expert and i dont want to rain on your parade but i think that tank has the wrong turret it looks like a scorpion turret to me , maybe in the us it was different but the 3 i have all have turrets made with soft blown plastic . other members can say what they think

My childhood tank was exactly like the picture. I have seen similar tanks with a different shape turret though.

I think you may be right.  I noticed that there were hatches but shrugged them off.  Sunny Smile tank has a larger hatch opening with no operating hatch.

Am I thinking of the Cherilea tank then? I'm not sure if there was a link between them and Sunny Smile vehicles.

Looking at pics of the Sunny Smile and Action Man tanks, it looks like a previous owner swapped the turret out. This might be a good thing, as (IMHO) the Scorpion turret looks better. It looks like someone put a Scorpion turret on an American M551 Sheridan tank.
