LATE 60'S VINTAGE ACTION MAN - INDIAN MOCCASINS ?????? _57_zps3e63e287

Details about LATE 60'S VINTAGE ACTION MAN - INDIAN MOCCASINS (SHOES)

Hi I've just picked up this pair of Moccasins for my latest Kitbash they were described on ebay as above, but when they arrived I found them to be no way big enough to fit VAM feet, I wonder if anyone can tell me what they are from they measure 40cm from heel to toe and 1.5cm at widest point by 1.5cm high

as you can see from my Avatar my Hawkeye has to make do with black slip-on dress shoes at the moment not the best thing to be fighting Magua and his marauding Huron's in lol!

Cheers Ian

I do not know much about Action Man...
But early Gi joes had what was called "baby feet" which were a bit smaller
than the later feet.

So is it possible these shoes would fit on Baby feet??? Did action Man ever use the baby feet?
Just throwing it out there...lol

------------------------------------------------------

Maybe grind some repro feet down so the shoes fit?

Early 1964 Gi Joe with baby feet... Toes were smaller and joined together then later issued feet...

(In 1976 Canada came out with a Exclusive Wild West Adventure Indian Gi Joe set but
little is know about it...)

They are Captain Action Tonto moccasins. The paint has flaked off or they are a KO.

Link to Stewart's Attic

The GI Joe Indian is basically the same as the European product, except it has a GI Joe tag.  That was due to a consortium of GI Joe licensees pooling resources to get items produced for a lower cost.

Canadian GI Joes used baby feet their entire run.
