BOXED FROGMAN 1980

1980 saw the widely available Frogman finally get his own box. and what a great box it is too except for the nightmare it is to fit him and all his equipment in Again 1st issue included side flap 2nd it was dropped and for a very limited time was sold without the sharpshooter art added as seen here which makes it the rarest of all boxes to find

superb!, Lots of happy memories with this set!, such a pity tho that so many perished , much like the space ranger uniform. However, you like Phil, seem to have found a real nice condition one there. Well done on a classic addition

I recently sold a supple 60's Frogman it had no rips and no hardening or dry spots. It made £330

I've always thought this a strange choice to release as a boxed figure. With so many vehicles in the range I can see the logic of the pilot but would also wonder why Palitoy didn't release a Tank Commander figure Like Geyperman did. I suppose the frogman had been a big seller since AM's early days and it made a great bathtime specific toy!

Good point Steve, guess the marketting department had their reasons.

This is another stunning box and figure. Clive I totally forgot about the talcum powder and Jemma's 40th it melted to the figure in less than 6 months Going to get her a project are replacement

There's also an example in one of Walter's old Joe posts somewhere.
