Photography 101 (..or more correctly Help! cos I haven't got a scooby!)

Looking good steve!, try dropping the saturation and brightness over on befunky mate!, and i reckon your on to a winner , keep at it mate !

check your ISO settings that can cause a grainy look also if your not using a timer or release like Ross suggests that miniscule vibration will cause a loss of focus, keep playing and have fun

This is a great thread , good idea.
I think we can all learn from this thread and get some tips.
If in doubt do what I do plenty of light and stick the old camera on auto!!
Might start using a stand in the future as suggested, as I can only hold my breath for so long.

my camera came with a mini tripod about 2 inches high , i'll have to dig it out

After seeing the set-up over at TOM K HQ I now realise what I need...

....MORE LIGHT!! Much. much more light!

This is looking a whole lot better! You should bring you camera over and try it on my pop-up studio and see how it performs. I'd like to see what settings it has on it too...

Do you have a black dalek? I'd love a black dalek for Tom K HQ, where can I get one?

Mini tripods are useful for supporting other things
