Recently I have been revisiting some of my kitbashes. In my early 'bashes, in addition to Hasbro/Palitoy kit, I used a fair amount of Dragon pieces and kit from other manufacturers. Recently I've been replacing a lot of this "outside" kit with Hasbro/Palitoy pieces to give the kitbashes a more authentic Action Man/GI Joe look.

This Australian Army soldier was an early 'bash of mine back in 2008. This is how he looked then...

...and here's how he looks today..

The addition of the webbing from the late issue Parachute Regiment set gives a more "in-house" feel...

I've also rolled up the sleeves to give a more "digger" look...

This is another Aussie as he was back in 2008...

Not too many changes, but here he is now...

I replaced the Dragon holster and pistol with the standard Hasbro issue...

I also replaced the camo radio with the non camo version...

Added the map case, replaced the grenades with standard Hasbro issue, added a Cotswold scabbard for his knuckle knife and again rolled the sleeves up...

I also swapped out the 40th Joes for 40th Action Man and used the Joes for some US Army figures...

A bit more bonza now! Smile
