PostSubject: Kitbash: More Aussies   Sun Apr 19, 2015 8:15 am

Had a few Aussie bush hats lying in my footlockers for a while so decided to add another couple of diggers to my ANZAC forces.  First up is this Gunner...

The 'bash consists of all Hasbro/Palitoy kit.  The basic Action Soldier fatigues shirt has been modified with a few stitches to the collar/lapels.  Ammo belts come from the Commando set.  Knuckle knife comes from the SOTC Australian Jungle Fighter and the green web belt is from the first issue Talking Commander basic figure...

Bush hat and boots are from the Desert Fighter basic figure.  Grenades are standard Hasbro/Palitoy issue and the entrenching tool comes from the Special Operations Kit Bag...

In action with the Vickers Machine Gun from the Equipment Centre Card range.  A great piece of kit that I'd love a couple more of...

Next up is an alternative take on the SOTC Australian Jungle Fighter set.  Bush hat, boots and shorts come from the Desert Fighter basic figure.  Socks are Cotswold - the only non-Hasbro/Palitoy kit in the 'bash...

Once again the shirt is the basic Action Soldier fatigues shirt with modified  collar/lapels.  Colt, holster and green web belt are from the first issue Talking Commander basic figure and grenades are the standard AM/GI Joe issue...

Flame thrower comes from a GI Joe 30th anniversary set...

Machete and pouch are from the SOTC Australian Jungle Fighter set and canteen and cover come from the SOTC British Infantryman...

Another bonza pair of diggers ready for combat...
