Here we see a member of one of the Sharpshooter regiments, this one led by Colonel Berdan. The green uniform for low visibility was inspired by the British Rifle Corps and German Jaegers.

DML body and boots, the rest is from the Sideshow release.

The Killers in Green Coats!

A lovely looking uniform and figure! Their favorite target was the Confederate artillerymen. I think the green uniform was the start of early camo/stealth.
The Confederates also had sharpshooters. I've been interested in the history of the American civil war since a very early age  Wink

Thanks! Their officers wore shoulder straps that were slightly smaller than other branches; which along with the green background make them one of the first example of what we would call subdued rank insignia.
