Escort Motorcycle. (Still a WIP at present)

I want for my collection an ESCORT Motorcycle and seeing how expensive Harley are with Police attachments, figured best go the cheap way and a little Work.

Also I want if possible to install LED Blues n Twos If I can, so we will see.

Anyway ARGOS has a selection of the NEW RAY 1/6 Diecast/plastic motorcycles available. I got my Hondo for £25.



Now your thinking, Just a repaint eh. Well Not me (I'm awkward like that LOL) as I wanted a single seat Motorcycle.

So looking at this bike I figured some chop and change would get me something a little different and that I like the look of.

So...... I removed the support of the rider seat and base of the passenger seat.



Then I thought the Back Support of the passenger would look cool for the rider. Also removed the top pinon case as plan to make a new one where the 9v batt can Hide for LEDs Forward thinking or fooling myself I know what I am doing LOL




So I am VERY happy with how it looks now. Though as said Top pinon case needs making yet.

So Well why not see what this bike looks like in BLACK!

First of all Masking tape fun LOL I could disassemble but this is a safer option LOL



Next 1st coat of SHINY Black


So after a couple coats here you go with what I have Thus far.






So there you go so far.

The rider will be wearing VAM Police Uniform though with alterations. Helmet I am still undecided for him yet.

Lovely looking bike, and a very sweet mod you've done, especially now it's painted a badass black colour. The LED's would be a smart feature!

Plenty of the Americans have these posted with figures inside, from Joes, to TUS and DML I have seen.

So VAM being the smaller to some of these should fit I hope. Will take time out and photo various brands trying it out if you like Clive?
