PostSubject: Real Knight's metal Armour New Project   Tue Aug 18, 2015 1:23 pm

Just picked this suite of Armour up at my local charity shop and now intend to bash it into a full set of plate Armour for one of the Guy's Camoflarge is looking pretty impressed and hope's he get's the old kit made for him Twisted Evil

It's a bit bigger than Camoflarge but maybe the legs were made too long as the chest proportion seems to be good size and the helmet may fit

I'm sure with a few adaptions I will make this fit or use a slightly bigger trooper scratch

Let Battle Commence......... Suspect king lol!

Yes mate, I have started taking it to bits and it was made of old food cans proberbly in Spain or somewhere like.

its really crudely put together on the inside and will need a lot of trimmimg, but yes I will have to cut it into sections and joint it, just like the real armour would be fitted scratch

Ian

Just had another go today on this project, it's not gone too bad but still needs more work, Here's an update

Still a bit rough and held together with elastic bands but taking shape Very Happy

Even got the helmet to fit without removing the head What a Face lol!

I went a bit mad on the backs of the legs and will need to probs cut some replacements Mad

Visor opens well but will need better fastenings, but all in all gone well today Wink
