That is a great looking aircraft! (That first pic is a P-47 pilot's wet dream!) There was a 1/6ist F4U Corsair in RN colors at a local hobby shop a few years back. It was in pieces, but i should have made an offer before the store closed.

Fantastisch!!!

Excellent work, Ian, fantastic that you were able to set up your dio by the old air field, that is so cool!!!

Well, i dunno, but if it is that stressful having figures blow over,  maybe actual flight is not something you'd be interested in...but I agree, these make great static models for dios. I'm sure they are fun to fly, but...

I was setting up a little dio in a small park once and I heard a man calling his dog in the distance. A moment later the dog came over for a look see. I was a little dumbstruck and just froze while the dog sniffed a figure knocking it down. His master called him and he left. Later it occurred to me how easily he could have snatched the figure in his mouth and went away with it. I got lucky.

Thanks,
Brian

Cheers Ralph, it was that first Sour face that I got from you that started this project up, then I picked up the original sour puss so I had been piecing the Luftwaffe pilot together and as if by some miracle I found the plane in the junk shop I'd visited "Flukey or what"!! Very Happy Yes its going to take some time, a set of 1/6th scale Messerschmitt plans with all the sizes would be a great help tho scratch lol!
