Great looking group of guys Ian & some very cool names.

I never named any of mine... But hats off to you guys that did!

Yea, most of my GI Joes are casually referred to as "Joe."

Action Man is a different beast, I had to name them, they didn't have a name (besides, everyone else had).

Only my Adventure Team Joes have names, they were so ripe for fiction.

are fuzzheads...

wow! cool figures, the names are quite clever never thought of naming mine

Thanks for the positive feedback on the names, I usually look up names from the particular region I'd like the Character to be from. Some just fell into place.

Only the cool names get through, though.

I think all of my Action Man Bios have elements of my inner thoughts and desires.

Isn't that what we all do? Project portions of ourselves onto these figures with the hopes that we can live out our fantasies and dream adventures through them?

An update on my squad. Can't believe how fast my one has become sixteen. And there will hopefully be four more recruits very soon.

All of my childhood soldiers had names. So I have carried on the tradition. I do have fairly extensive dossiers written up about most of them .... somewhere on my laptop I think.

I need to update my update as Neil, Peter and Gus don't look the same anymore.

Patrick is my middle name..as my wife thinks that he looks like me

Len is named after my uncle who was a desert rat in WW2

Paul was the name of my long lost childhood adventurer.

James is in honour of the very nice man who gave him to me.

Rufus Stone is a name I love..and have used for a hero in a book that I am writing ( and have been for some time lol)

Carl is in honour of Carl Weathers.

Dave has his original name...as he is my only surviving childhood action man

Becca is named after a character and the actress who played her from Ultimate Force.

Steve is named after a mate..as I think he looks like him.

Tom's name was inspired by a comment by Ian ( Action Yankee )

And the rest I had help with from my 7 year old lol
