PostSubject: ActionYankee's Yankees and Chaps   Tue Sep 13, 2016 3:36 pm

In the wake of the dreaded photobucket betrayal, I've decided to replace these photos as I go, so that I may have a cleaner thread. Smile

I'm going to start with whatever group shots I can find.

Action Men

L to R: Sean (40th), Clint (40th), Sgt. Church (40th), Lucas (VAM), Commander MacBeth (VAM), Georgie (VAM), "Blues" (40th), Hamish (40th/Cotswold Hybrid), "Melbourne" (40th/Cotswold Hybrid).

GI Joes

Left to Right: Sea Adventurer (Vintage), Adventurer (Vintage), Air Adventurer (Walmart), Commander (GIJCC), Commander (Vintage), Man of Action (Timeless), Land Adventurer (Vintage), Astronaut (Custom), Mike Power "Atomic Man" (GIJCC).

Left to Right: Man of The Sea, Man of Asia (Wrong Uniform), Foreign Adventurer (Custom), Arctic Adventurer, Urban Adventurer, Comrade of Action.

Left to Right: Dr. Isotope "The Radioactive Menace," Man of Evil.

I'll continue augmenting old posts and adding new ones until I'm done. Very Happy

Fantastic stuff Action! you have some great figures. I actually quite liked the tattoo'd Joe Very Happy . I wonder if the original owner remembers putting those initials on him? It really gives him character bounce .
Great boots on your custom astro Very Happy , are they what the original Joe astro came with?

I gave whomever did it a fictional name and backstory.

Ronnie Tiederman was born in Francine, Iowa, within a week of Christmas in 1958. He received this GI Joe (his first) for Christmas/His Birthday in 1965. His family moved in the 70's, and in the 80's or 90's, Ronnie, now an adult, sold his first GI Joe at a garage sale, to the Gentleman I bought him from.

No, the Jumpsuit and the boots are Cotswold.

GI Joe Con 2016 "Eight Ropes of Danger/Descent into Darkness"

I purchased this set, believing that the 2016 GI Joe Convention was going to be the last one. After I bought it, I found out that the GIJCC got a two year extension.

I also purchased this set, because it contained the one figure I thought I'd never get, an "Adventures of GI Joe Aquanaut." Who is super cool. I've taken to calling him Ishmael.

It is now one of the crown jewels in my collection, because it's super cool.

^ It should say "Perilous" above that "Rescue." confused

Really great figures... we love GI Joes here at Tom K HQ, but that tattoo is awesome... no doubt the result of a drunken outing in Singapore or Saigon that ended up in some dodgy inking parlour... Razz

INCOMING!

Recently purchased a 40th Infantry and Support Weapons set from Cotswold. Should arrive Monday, maybe before.

I can't wait. I'm taking suggestions as to what to name the figure that comes with.

Figured I'd update my thread here a little bit, nothing much right now, the majority of my collection is with my parents.

First is a Joe Dress Marine, part of the stuff that gibri sent me. I suggested to him this uniform, and he said he should be able to get one to me, so I was expecting it, what I wasn't expecting, was that he'd send a figure.

The uni is 40th, the boots are vintage, and the figure is Timeless.

(took me forever to get him to properly shoulder his rifle)

And my GIJCC 2016 Mike Power, The Atomic Man. Now, that's Power, singular. Powers is a swinger British Spy.

How he came in the Mailer (Except for the socks that I was too lazy to find)

His Atomic Eye in action! (it's the lower spot of light)

Dressed in a vintage Mike Power shirt, and Timeless Joe Australian Jungle Fighter Shorts

FIELD MISSION ALPHA!

Atomic Man Schematics

Just a cool picture
