That's a great vehicle Slack! A nice addition to the collection!
Us Limeys can only imagine what it must have been like to get one of these for xmas, although didn't Bob Brechin once say a green VAM version was under serious consideration at Palitoy?

Take good care of it as there aren't many of these this side of the pond.

Joe and Hank tried to steal one once...

Nice shots SKAJ great set!!!

GiBri.. that was a thorough hijackin'!! and well worth it!

I can't believe I got it off ebay US and posted all in for £77!!! That's a frickin' result with a box!!

Plan was to customise my existing one for the 'Evils'... and have a full on makeover...

I can't believe it came with the Salesmans Sample ultra rare drawer stand!!! I mean how rare are those!!!... only given to Hasbro employees who had personally sold over 1000 samples.... unbelievable!!!  affraid  clown

Thanks, Slack!!! Very Happy  Very Happy  Very Happy

An MSV Club UK branch would be awesome!!!  bounce  bounce  bounce

Great pick-up, fantastic condition and amazing low price, shipped from the US no less. Gotta be one of the best eBay hauls ever! And with that stand -- outstanding!!!

I was going to ask about that stand. I never knew there was one. Pretty sure mine doesn't have a stand. Thanks for the info on the salesman's sample. That makes this deal really out of this world excellent!!!

Ebay buy of the year!!!

There is a little oddity on mine. If you notice the figure laying on the roof looking down on the maps. Some of them had the maps mounted on the frame upside down so they couldn't be installed right side up. Not sure how many had this mistake.

Forgive me old bean but I made up the story about the stand... Slackademy  Humour Team  do like to get involved clown
The uprights were in the box and I took a dremel to a bunk bed end frame for the cross member... no idea what the uprights belong to...Little bit more bendy than hasbro plastic but same colour..?

You can probably just about ease the map frame out of its housing and turn it the other way up if you stress the roof up...I did it today as the map wasn't even in the fixings.. but I wouldn't risk it if it was already in... might crack the plastic... and that would be a real shame...

I'm deciding on whether to chop the box and frame the artwork together in a large frame... it's not a great box so wouldn't be a crime against VAManity but... I need to think it over... I've framed other 'rough' boxes...and they came out nice....

Cheers chap... and I'll keep you posted on more rare items!  Suspect

RE: the maps, you're more or less stuck with them. They only mount one way and they're riveted in, but it wasn't too hard to get another set that was right side up.

That's good to hear and I'm really looking forward to it! Believe me, I don't have anything against some nice custom work, I've done plenty of plastic surgery myself, it's just that this one looks like new.
