Anyone who pops into chat will know that I have been working on these guys for a while. I have had a lot of help with these guys, brownboots, salbal to mention a few, also chip I haven't forgotten about getting back in touch, it just I have had to put this project on the back burner for a while.
Inspired by Lowtowns Vietnam troops, I thought I would have a bash too. I have finished three of the five, but alas, have only found time to photograph two at the moment. So here is the Sarge, and the heavy weapons guy, enjoy!

Sarge

Heavy Weapons Guy

More too follow soon as and when I trackdown the remaining small pieces Very Happy . Thanks for looking! cheers cheers cheers

They look awesome Dal. Great work! I love the sarge but the M60 guy looks so cool.

Was he inspired by the Vietnam memorial statue?

You've really caught the feel of it if he is! cheers

Cheers Steve! Really pleased that you like the first two Very Happy .

I did look at lots of images of that era, and helmet designs, trying to get the eel right, but I must admit, I din't see the statue image, but now having seen it, there might now have to be a sixth member to the squad! bounce bounce bounce

Really appreciate the feedback mate bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce bounce
