Thanks everyone for your positive comments.
I've been meaning to recreate this scene out of the small booklets for years.
It always seems easier than it actually is ..especially when you come to set it all up .
For instance trying to get them to hold anything with those stupid nose picker hard hands lol!
Also the angles, look good through the lens but when you get them back on the computer and match them against the originals, they look so far out.
Cheers everyone and feel free to add your own.
Got a few more in the pipeline too .

An inspired idea James!

Those pics are so ingrained in our memories. Back then, when we were spending hours pouring over the equipment manuals none of us could have imagined in the future we'd own enough VAM to recreate them!

Did Zodiac ever do a catalogue? cos Steve could probably recreate a Para/SAS page using the ACTUAL figures!! Lol

Ross,

I think the Zodiac TommyGunns were sold in Debenhams back in the day, so they may have been in some form of catalogue??

Edit:

Just found this: https://zodiactoys.wordpress.com/

This looks like Zodiac TommyGunn on the shelf on the right side of the photo, they look like they're in see-through blister packs??

Look who's on Zodiac's shelves:

Yes Zoids, great toys, the artwork on some of those Zoids boxes was fab (the studio photos), I still have a MSX computer game 'Zoids' in the loft, it's kind of like a robot version of Pokémon . Smile

Some nice memories looking at those photos Clive
I remember the special offers selling off boxed figures for 99p .
They did turn my head at the time but thought I was far too old to start buying figures again. affraid
A mate of mine did, I remember him buying a couple of the SAS guys and feeling really jealous after I'd spent my money on some BMX bits

I sold a load of my childhood figures for pennies to buy bmx stuff in the 90s Crying or Very sad I remember my mum buying me 99p nude figure when zodiacs was clearing stock and losing it between town and home! I was gutted as we backtracked shops but couldn't find it Crying or Very sad
