PostSubject: A couple of Charity shop recruits   Fri May 19, 2017 9:55 am

Hi Folks

Picked there guys up in the local Help the Children shop . I make it a habit to call in and rummage in the toy bins.
I'm building up a very random collection of 1:18 scale friends lol!

So who is this guy ?- He is a Lanard Ultra Corps but does he have a back story ?

I also got this guy on e-bay - is it his cousin?

So a little group of Lanard Figures to take their place among the 2nd Bn Munrovian Volunteers VAM/MAM ranks  cheers

I missed these guys,  who I guess were part of the 90's/2000's ?? - When did the range bite the dust ?

Take care
Gunner

We used to have a couple of the Lanard guys. Comparable to MAM but the hands and heads are a little smaller. We found that some of the heads could take the helmets and sunglasses from the HM Armed Forces figures, which is nice. I've not seen any of them for a while though. I think they were short lived and now the line has turned into the 3.75" figures (where have we heard that before...?) but it looks like there's still some around in charity shops, just not the one's around here!

Great pick ups Steve! I think those little figures are still produced, as Ultra corps?

Lucky-7 finds, Gunner, I've had loads from charitry shops in the past, including vam figures and gear.

That 12" figure is called Junkyard, he's one of the 'Mountain Recon Team', here's what the figure looks like carded:

I've got one like that in my MAM nation (swapped via Ackie).. The quality of the UC figures from that period are superb, the rest of mine I found at boot sales and charity shops.

Nice additions Steve. Charity shop finds at those rare moments can be so productive.
