I have no idea if it is a Tom Hanks (Saving Private Ryan) figure or not, but I do know they are about on ebay, best thing would be to find one and compare to the pics? Its a pity ghostrecon isnt about at the moment, he probably would have known Sad

So the consensus it isn't captain miller..ok
There is a figure with a great head sculpture that looks just like tom hanks

But the below figure is also supposed to be him..?
I also seem to have this figure pictured naked, he also came as German... he also doesn't look like tom hanks...

There have been so many versions of Tom Hanks/Capt. Miller by so many different mfgs. The early ones weren't so good, but later ones got better and better. I think your Miller looks pretty good in profile.

Some mfgs just made the head. Most Dragon heads have a number etched on the back of the neck. There is a list a guy was making of all the DML heads. You could look those heads up, see what figure it was.

There's a great old story/legend that Hasbro made a Tom Hanks/Miller figure with a very nice likeness. The figure was made to come out at the same time as the original movie. Figures were given to Hanks a some of the cast, but for some reason I can't remember they pulled the plug on the figure and it was never released. Interestingly, the figures had already been made and many of them were destroyed or gotten rid of in some way. They never made it to the market. A few of the figures did make it out and once in a while you'll see one on eBay. It is a true story, i have seen photos of the figure.

There was an early coffin box figure of an Army Ranger sold by the club/GIJCC. I heard that it was made up of most of the left over uniforms and gear from the Hanks figures.

cheers cheers cheers
