Good find, Jim!

I was going to say, I know a guy who makes Batmobiles. I think they run around 30K, but he's been having trouble lately finding the right vintage autos to use as a base for the conversion. Shocked Laughing Shocked

On the other hand that fellow who made all the blow moulded vehicles, like the Panther jet, (DeSimone?) also made a 1/6th Batmobile. Twisted Evil

cheers cheers cheers

It's nice when you find some of the things you used to have back in the day
Like the batmobile

CB was like a walkie talkie system where you could talk to people all over the the world with their own username

Here in the US, the FCC, Federal Communications Commission regulates the air waves. CB, Citizen's Band was an area of radio frequencies freely available to the general pubic. More powerful radio frequencies were available if you got your HAM radio license. Enthusiasts would have a whole set up with antennas, radios, amplifiers and microphones and talk to other HAM radio operators all over the world. You could skip the signal off the atmosphere and talk to China.

Long haul truckers all had CB radios in their trucks and would talk to other truckers about road conditions, weather and Smoky Bear (the Police), speed traps etc. Everybody had their own name (like our screen names) called their 'handle'. And they had a lot of their own lingo or jargon.

They would also listen in to the Police and fire bands and learn the "10 codes" the police used to simplify description/communications. 10-20 means 'what's your location" 10-4 means "good bye", 10-10 means "fight in progress"

The internet and cellular phones pretty much made them obsolete, but they still are in use.

So, when Cliff asks, "what's your 20?" he wants to know where you are.

When Cliff asks Jake what's going on at the Arms, he'll say 10-10.
