I loved the term 'VAM Warrior'!

It was great to learn that Jake wasn't really dead (not that I believed he was for a moment ) but then Cliff 2.0 cops it! There'll be two heartbroken fathers here at SKJ HQ today. Still he died a hero in true VAM fashion. You can't ask for more than that.

Why does Jake remind me of Captain Kirk? Poor Cliff 2.0 dies and Jake is about as worried about it as Kirk usually is when a red shirt bites the dust. Then two minutes later in true Kirk style, Jake is hoping to score with a sexy alien chick!

Cheers Ian! It helped tie up some loose ends, and it was great to finally let the cat out of the bag that poor old Cliff 2.0 was about to get it A great twist to the tale, he died a true Vam warrior!

Captain Kirk?, captain Kirk! okay, you do have a point! lol! but Jake knows that AY HQ can hold their own and time for remorse will come after the great battles to come

I’ve literally finished reading this chapter on a bus heading to Perth to see my godmother and staying over for one night anyway lol. I really really enjoyed reading this chapter and my favourite line is what Jake said to Goldie “we’ll I am off to cut the head off the snake” and the very end comic widow when Jake said to Ta-Shia Sundance “The time has come to take back BAM HQ!!”

A very nice tribute to young Cliff 2.0 who fell in battle.
