I`m going to order one of the shark heads, to do a photo of it coming out, plus with the Ariel view of the shark going under the Orca
Surely you don't have to order one? The toy shops and cheapie places here have trays of the things, ...and for just a few dollars. I got two different sharks, a crocodile and a T-Rex.

Now can't have the Orca without a Shark Cage for Hooper

I missed some of these posts while I was away last month.
That mast is coming along nicely! Excellent detail work with all the little hand rungs. Looks like tedious effort, but the end result looks great!
Are you crafting the cage from scratch? That must take forever! It reminds me of little wooden "cricket cages" that used to be seen in gift shops. Of course, I haven't seen one since I was a kid, so maybe they're not so easy to find anymore.
The "Quint" figure looks just like him! Fantastic kitbash!

At least you have the bars close together! Just about all the actual cages I've seen have the damn viewing window large enough for most Great Whites to get their snout through! There's even a vid on Youtube where a huge shark is able to swim in through the gap and eventually emerges up out the trap door on top! Luckily the human occupant was able to squeeze down away from the gnashing teeth!

Many thanks Dal and Alex much appreciated, still a lot of work to do yet,
but I thought getting Quint crushing his Can and Hooper crushing his plastic cup is a classic bit from the film lol

Good to see the Orca again, looking better than ever ship-shape and ready for sea!
I see you even have a shark fin to cruise along beside!
When are the first sea trials?

Thanks Dave and Mark,
Dave the sea trials I'm afraid will be next year, I was hoping to get down there this year, but I'll finish off the rigging and other bits and get it out there lol

I'm really impressed by it all of course but couldn't help but laugh when I saw that the chum being thrown overboard had attracted....a dog!
(Second pic!)

DEFINITE idea for your next project Mark! You just don't love your kid enough unless you hand-make a "Jaws" themed crib for him to sleep in. This could of course have quite a lasting impact on the kid's future mental state...
