Wonderful looking job on those T-rex swap-outs Chris. Did you have much trouble modifying the heads? Perhaps a little close up or tutorial on how you did it ?

The chad valley one was easy. It just popped on...its a tad loose, but not enough to worry me at the moment. In future I may try to find a way to sit it on a bit tighter.
The other one involved cutting a very straight line around the neck just under the chin. This was a bit trickier, but still not all that difficult. I marked it so that I had a line to follow with the knife. I also had to par the inside of the neck hole as the joint bulged too much.
My plan is to try to get a soldier and a sailor if possible so I will either stick with chad valley bodies in future or maybe get a dragon or DiD body.
I will try to remember to take a few pics tomorrow.

Well you look to have done a marvelous job of cutting and paring for the vintage bod - which is my personal favourite of the two. However, I have a few Chads and might try a blind fit of the head I kept from the T-Rex sailor set I had.

Definitely give it a go. As I said it's not a tight fit..infact the body was on the bench and the head was on the floor after a shelf dive yesterday, but its tight enough for posing etc.
By the way I have a cunning plan to stop shelf diving....all will be revealed soon.

Amazon have the soldier and sailor for about a tenner each so I decided that rather than drive around using fuel and my time i would just order them. They are arriving tomorrow so I will have something to do

The soldier and sailor arrived about 20 mins ago. So I wasted no time in swapping everything to better bodies. The soldier uni needs stuff adding to it or maybe I will swap the jacket for a t shirt. The sailor outfit really doesn't look like a sailor uni to me. I think the top would work as a casual shirt and the trousers would be better with a different top. The 3 heads on chad valley bodies will be swapped to something more articulated sometime in the near future as they are too chunky for my liking.
Heres close up of the cut I made for the head on an AM repro body....correction..here's a blurry close up of the cut I made for the head on an AM repro body

I’m so pleased that you wasted no time in swapping everything to better bodies Chris. Oh I’m really liking the blurry close up of the cut you made for the head on an AM repro body . Blurry close up pictures are all the rage by the way.

Love the battle-weary (or bottle-weary) look of the fig in center-back with the red cap!

Hahaha...that cap is supposed to be at a jaunty angle
I've been thinking about my study dio for some time now. I couldn't see a way for it to be what I wanted out of a main dio whilst being a study. So I've had a rethink and the main dio will be more in the style of a gentleman's club...um..except with ladies too, but I refuse to call it a gentlepersons club

I’m really liking this picture Chris. He looks so relaxed smoking a cigar. I think you should enter this picture into this months photo of the month competition.

Chillaxin' in style!
The bookshelf and books are simply superb. Nice frame on the map, as well. Really coming along. That "vintage club atmosphere" is beginning to take shape.

Actually managed to get 10 minutes to myself. So I installed the new anti shelf dive barrier....or the balcony as I've christened it as it reminds me if a nightclub balcony from my younger days
