| James alone, martini in hand, and sitting in a smoke "ghost chair"...yes, that's what they are really called. |

| Thanks Fellers! He is in fact most flexible and able to adopt very realistic poses quite beyond any of my MAMs or lone VAM. Not sure what body is used and I don't want to risk damaging his fine tux. by undressing him to look, but Bond is indeed a great figure to work with. I do like his hands! |

| One of the earlier Sideshow Toys figures. Not sure who was making their bodies at that time, but you should be able to work with him. This business of equipping you in the field is most inconvenient, I was having tea with the Queen...Will you please stop fooling around with the equipment, 007. I wanted a From Russia with Love version of Bond, so I swapped his tux with Major Boothroyd's brown suit. | |

Thanks Alex! Glad you enjoyed the set up! Those chairs a 1/6 scale copies of very famous pieces that really were called "Ghost Chairs" due to their transparency. Yes I am a James Bond fan as far as the Sean Connery movies go, but not really all that fond of the Rodger Moore portrayals. I always found him a bit creepy, specially when he got FAR too old for the role and was making all those sleazy sexual double-entendres to girls young enough to be his granddaughter. - gibri wrote:

An excellent collection gibri! I too have the wet-suit version from "Thunderball"....the best of the Bond movies in my view. Must say Major Boothroyd looks very special in Bond's tux, ....not so sure about Bond in the baggy tweeds though!

| Yeah, Bond's tailors definitely let him down with those tweeds... Thunderball is still my favorite, also the first one i saw. I think a lot of critics put Goldfinger as the best. I have a book of film reviews that gave Thunderball a high rating but really slammed Goldfinger, didn't like the plot and though he was a silly and non-threatening villain whereas Largo was an excellent villain. I was speaking with a Professor of film studies at Purdue who said he thought From Russia with Love was the best and his favorite. He made some good points. | |

| The plot line in "Goldfinger" is just too ridiculous and improbable. Yes I do know James Bond films are all highly improbable but for me there is a limit (and it's a generous one) to my suspension of disbelief and once that is exceeded then the movie dissolves into farce. For me there will only ever be one Bond. I do wish there were more. |

| Some really cool figures there! I've never been a Bond fan. It's probably sacrilege to say this but I think the newer Daniel Craig ones are the best. My favourite 'Bond' moment is probably when he escorted her Maj to the Olympics. It's led to some great memes. _________________ Life moves pretty fast. | Great figures chaps. They look the cat's whiskers. From the poses, they look super articulated. Personally speaking, I was never enthusiastic about Daniel Craig's turn as 007. He's way too po-faced and humorless a James Bond for my taste. There's no trace of Connery's sardonic wit and whilst Roger Moore got a bit over jokey about it all at times, he wasn't too bad if a little too old for it. Although he got some lousy scripts, I thought my fellow Irishman Pierce Brosnan struck a reasonable balance on that score. _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.
