Recieved the vintage Deep Sea Diver suit today... pics included

Hi everyone,

I still have my vintage Deep Sea Diver set from 1969...The original diving suit lost all the
lining inside and the neck is so stretched it did not fit my Joe...SO I've been displaying my
Joe for years now wearing a reproduction Diver suit...
That will change tomorrow as I have a 1960's Deep Sea Diver suit coming!
All lining is intact and the ELASTIC AT NECK, WRISTS AND ANKLES ARE STILL good shape...

I got it today!
My childhood Gijoe Deep Sea Diver is finally back into a Vintage DSD Suit!
I combined two sets together with my childhood accessories...Original Deep Sea Diver set
and 1969 eight ropes of danger set...

Oh, wow! That looks like the original Eight Ropes of Danger octopus! The one with the big lead weight in its head!

The treasure chest looked so cool... and it was such a disappointment that the set include three or four cheap little plastic jewels.

You have the boot weights, too! The dive buoy must be from the deep sea diver set and not from Eight Ropes of Danger, because I don't remember ever seeing that piece. Belt looks intact, he's got his dive knife, and the valve handles are all intact on the helmet.

I had completely forgotten about the treasure map, but now that I see it again, I can almost "feel" the texture of it!

I got the eight ropes of danger set in 1969..I can still remember opening the boxes it came in... Mine came in plain brown boxes with big staples...lol.. I did not get the box that had pictures on it...Yep original octopus with lead weight....
I also had the Deep Sea Diver set which was earlier in the 60's..Probably had the set around 1966-67...
