| I really enjoy these travel pics of TomK. I don't think many others of us would feel comfortable whipping out a figure in the lobby of a hotel or at a restaurant and taking photos. Well done and thanks for posting. I also think many of us would not be so uncomfortable shooting figure pics in front of strangers as we might be in front of SWMBO...and on your anniversary at that. Congratulations!!! | |

| [quote="SWMBO is so used to Tom K travelling with us, she doesn't even bat an eyelid these days when I pack him in my backpack, but she does mutter something like "it'll look weird to get him out here" in a public place... Tallinn in Estonia next for the Christmas Market. I am hoping to get some very seasonal Tom K Travel Pics.
Wonderful pics of Tom K doing his thing!! You're a man after my own heart. Spud, the alpha Action Man in my squad, travels everywhere with us too! Here he is on last year's trip to the Cliffs of Moher in the West of Ireland. _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.

That's really a very stylish denim jacket Tom K is modelling! Was it a special purchase for the Paris trip? I also note he's adopted the Parisian fashion for scarves! Almost expected Converse canvas sneakers...!

It is indeed. Some view from that too! I must post up a few more of Spud in the West in a dedicated thread. _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.

I also note he's adopted the Parisian fashion for scarves! Almost expected Converse canvas sneakers...! None of the gear he's wearing was specially purchased for the trip, it's just made up of random bits that I've bought off eBay over the years... I was trying to give him a cool Parisian Metro-VAM look... hopefully succeeded. Tom K has quite an extensive wardrobe these days, so I will try and give him a different look for each trip. Estonia should be effing cold in December (already around 0 at night), so he will be dressed appropriately for snow... hopefully... _________________ RalphMe? Well, I live life vicariously! Here he is on last year's trip to the Cliffs of Moher in the West of Ireland.
It's a great feeling having ya favourite VAM in ya backpack when out and about... Spud looks very cool in the great outdoors! Is that an optical illusion, or is Spud missing his legs and somehow levitating at the cliff's edge? _________________ RalphMe? |
Y'know, I'd actually never even noticed that till you pointed it out? Seems to be the camera angle and the way I was holding the legs (tightly together) for the shot. Looks odd though doesn't it? Here's a slightly different shot from the same point on the cliff edge. Legs present. Spud has many talents but levitation might be a bridge too far.. _________________ Real heroes don't die... they just reload.

Just crop a tiny sliver off the bottom of that photo Kev and all will be good. It's still one of the most spectacular locations I've seen in a while. - TheOneManKid wrote:

Very well indeed! You see many blokes looking exactly like that on the Metro. - TheOneManKid wrote:

Do you just pack his clothes loose with your own or does he have his own special travelling luggage? |

Tom K has taken to using a kitbag instead of luggage... _________________ RalphMe? Well, I live life vicariously! My Action Man? Well, he lives life victoriously! See my photos @ Flickr | |

| Well my bloke possesses both a kitbag and even one of those 1/6 scale suitcase on wheels with the pull-up handle we all travel with these days. However while I can pack just about everything I need in my own, try as I might I cannot fit the equivalent amount of his little clothes in the scale luggage. |
