Very interesting article, both about the Dr. X robot variants, and also about the early history of Action Man and GI Joe. I was not aware that Palitoy and Action Man developed "Kung Fu Grip" before it was released in America.

Great post. Fascinating article which shows that quite a lot of thinking, research and development went into the various characters and figures that were introduced into this oft too maligned line.
