| Whoa! Nice work! Impressively cool historical replica!
I don't know enough about the historical period to speak to the accuracy, but the figure certainly looks accurate! I would not question it!
Did you make that robe yourself? _________________ ... DAVE

Are you kidding Dave? All that frogging and silk binding are WAY beyond my sewing skills! Specially in miniature! The costume itself was an outdoor market find. It had started to rain quite heavily and the stallholders were frantically trying to cover their most vulnerable goods. This little outfit was already soaking wet but looked approx.1/6 scale. At the time I had no idea what to do with it but the stall holder said just take it for $2 if you think it will dry out OK. The black pants are Attila's originals, I bought the white socks and chinese shoes and also some black straight doll's hair for the plait. His sword is an old Action Man one I had lying around in my grab bag. Attila apparently had a plastic pigtail and there's a hole in the back of his head where it plugged in, but that piece itself was missing from the original figure when it arrived. |

| Well, I wasn't really thinking you did the embroidery or screen printing or whichever it is; but I was wondering if you had sewed the garment. Sounds like you restored the garment rather than making it entirely from scratch. Sounds like a fair bit of concerted effort was required over time to find the bits and pieces to assemble. The final result certainly looks grand! _________________ ... DAVE
