Second thread for my fellas as the first one has reached its limit.
Been in the shed today sorting some figures out. My lads have been neglected recently so I'm putting that right starting today.
First here are the heads from the t-rex figures rebodied. The fella infront is on an AM body the two at the back were on chad valley bodies, but are now both on 1/6th bodies.
Next up it's the two "little Chris " figures as Alex has dubbed them. one is me before my beard went grey and one is now They both have new trainers.
Here's my two bad guys..still a WIP but they are getting there. They have new boots today
This fella has been wallowing in uniform hell for quite some time...this once again is a WIP
Now this chap has had many many looks since I first got him..this is the latest
And this is a group shot...just because. I used just the LED gallery lights which gave it a weird light.

Nor could you hold them all in two hands anymore!
Impressive collection... and a very fun "comparison" pic!

A couple of new squads.
These are all re-bodied T-rex AM heads except the fella with the tache.
And my urban unit. This unit was originally all chad valley figures, but I have decided to use those for bad guys. So now it's all AM or Joe's. ( yeah yeah I know that the light is rubbish )

Your collection does look impressive now Chris, but you are right about that lighting for sure. Ditch it! Really enjoyed seeing your childhood pic paired with your expanded troop now!

You could always use it in any future "interrogation room" dio! Or even as the blinding flash of a nuclear detonation?

Hey RT,
I'm guessing by the reference to "T-Rex" bodies you are talking about the HOF style? Or are those the current offerings under the Action Man name? I looked online for the Chad Valley bodies, I'm guessing they are knock-offs of the MAM bodies?
Forgive me, I'm a yank that is not familiar with all of the offerings in the UK. But I have seen the latest offering of Action Man, which I see as a slap in the face for not only the original, but the MAM as well. I can't believe that someone is selling those under the Action Man name. They certainly are not ready for action.

Hi Daryl
Yeah what we refer to as T rex figures are the terrible latest offerings under the AM name as you put it. We call them T rex figures because of their stupid, short arms When they first came out they were £25 or £30 which most of us refused to pay, but they can now be found in bargain shops for £5...sometimes less. And as the head, boots and dog tags are the only useable parts a fiver isnt bad.
Chad Valley figures had the same body ( and in some cases the same head ) as The Peacekeeper figures except at a much lower price. I think I picked up 6 figures with basic uniforms and weapons for about £5.....that's £5 for all 6..not each figure..crazy huh !? At one point I had about 14 of them (see pic below ), but I've given a few away so I'm left with 6 I think. These will eventually form the core of my bad guys. They were sold over here by a company called Argos, but unfortunately they have now discontinued them. There were only 4 or 5 headsculpts, but they are quite easy to customise with paint and/or modelling putty.

So....what happens to the "mini wildlife" then? Love his crampons, but he better hope that ice is strong enough to support his weight!
