Your Russian Project looks like it has the potential to become one of your most intense battle sequences to date! Impressive and scary group of soldiers!

By the number of German weapons they appear to be carrying, they must be partisans, no?

They have German weapons because I don’t have any Russian ones , and the Russians did actually use captured German weapons quite a lot , so that’s the scenario I’m going with .....and because I have no choice..

okay...whatever works for you. The Russians did in fact capture a lot of German weapons, especially in the wake of Stalingrad. However the mish-mash of different uniforms is another thing giving them a partisan vibe to my eye. It's just the sort of impression I get. No criticism intended.

And I spotted the Komradess in the back line! Only thing missing from a typical group of Ruskies? A few crates of industrial strength vodka!

No offence taken.....I’ve just used what I have....my idea is they have been through a lot and have scavenged what they could on the way .. as I said I haven’t got many Russian bits ..so I used any bits I thought looked russiany..( not a real word..).

On a separate note ...I have a few ww2 deactivated weapons ... I have this k98 that was a Russian capture then put into storage after the war , and then about 10 years ago a large haul of these weapons were bought by a British dealer , and I bought this from them..

A fine-looking bunch of Comrades!
They look like they have just received some shocking news from an NKVD officer "Comrades! I have reason to believe one of you is a German spy!"
(I have a feeling it may be the chap wearing the SS cap myself )
