Episode 18 cover - Engaging cover image. That vignette around the image creates a sense of malevolent mystery. What will they be talking about, who will be talking about it, and, well, the repercussions of whatever they're talking about may not be good!

383 - Ha! The "civilian" is giving the orders!

This room, especially that translucent wall, turned out really well!

Uhm... yeah, about that translucent wall... and no cameras or listening devices. Riiiight....

384 - Nowhere to be... except, one of them works here, right? When does her shift start? And how "free" is her free time?

385 - Her first good job after school, yes?

386 - She must have demonstrated some specialized skills that caught the eye of somebody... somewhere. Plays well in to the web of industrial espionage set up in Mister P's segments

387 - Ah! When an offer is "too good to be true," it probably has a catch, eh?

I like the "slow zoom in" effect implied by the close and then closer head shots, to enhance the "drama" of the revelation.

388 - This is particularly gut-wrenching, having "met" Galina in the flashback story.

At this moment, you have nailed down our reader enmity toward whoever this mysterious organization is. They must be stopped... and destroyed... as brutally and as horribly as possible!

389 - Nat says she's not sure... meaning, she's sure. Of course she is being monitored in her room... and likely everywhere else.

Everywhere else!

390 - Uh ohhh...!

391 - Reminds me of that scene in Star Wars where Tarkin is speaking in sickeningly sweet faux-polite tones to Leia and then brings in the torture droid.

392 - Oh, interesting! The droid has a bit of an ego, and a flair for the dramatic!

393 - That knife hand is totally creepy!

394 - Cool light in Red Eye's eye! The dull red glow suggests he's... it's... getting a little bit worked up. This Red Eye is more than just a dispassionate machine.

395 - Okay... this could be the end for Kat. And probably for Nat as well, useful though she may be.

396 - At this moment, I am certainly hoping, fingers crossed, that a little trick that was hinted at in an earlier installment is actually in play. Otherwise, this can only end extremely badly!

397 - Bold front!

Okay... the "trick" is, indeed, being put in to play. But how could they possible do anything in time?

"We'll be in touch! Stay calm!" Yeah... that's... not exactly reassuring!

398 - Seems like somebody is anxious to get to the "fun" part!

399 - This is interesting! Will Nat turn on her sister to save herself?

Or... is this part of a desperate long-shot plan she's formulating?

400 - Now that is a cliff-hanger! The edgiest episode of the entire story so far, with a genuine sense of helplessness and extreme danger!

Great work!

And look at that - four-hundred pages now!

Great chapter Colin! It looks bleak for the girls at the moment! Let's hope the plan goes well for them!

Really enjoyed reading Chapter Eighteen - Let's Talk About This.. Man that black robot has one Blackheart for sure.
