Back after the fatal 'ankle break' loss of their guitar/vocalist Bruce, the new version of 'Sixth Sense' performing at VooDoo.

They look like a trendy bunch!
Is that still Miss AJ MacLeod up front? Or she has a new name?

AJ was in the original 'Sixth Sense' and is still their lead vocalist, she also plays piano. I think she, and Rob the piano player are the only members who have been in the band since it's debut many years back.
Alexandra (AJ) has a temporary body swap to an S18A standing Phicen for on stage, as her regular body is a Jaiou Doll and doesn't stand on her own, much like the original Phicens. She works with the pale figures, and few sculpts match this well.
Moving forward, I'm sticking with the S18A Pale, and S19B Wheat figures for my females as I prefer mid-bust and the ability to stand on their own.

The monitor amps and all the cables blow me away! Such marvelously believable detail.
I see that you have constructed a riser for your drum kit. BlondeActionMan has been talking about making a riser for the drums in his band. I hope he sees these pics. Lots of great ideas here.
Your bass player is the coolest cat on that stage! Nice shades!

I made the monitors. I agree they do add a level of authenticity.

they are so cool Roy! I might have to have a go at making some too! are they just boxes or have you incorporated a mesh front?

Great looking band Roy.
Authenticity seems to be the word that comes to mind.
Love that grand piano. I got one, but even though it was labelled as 1/6 scale, it was actually more like 1/12 scale. Lovely piano, just no good for 1/6. Did you make the piano, or get it from somewhere?
Nice retro mics too. Nice to see Marshall amps in use. Gotta be Marshall for live guitarists. Hope they rest don't drown out the piano.

Thanks Colin,
The Piano is a Gloria item, comes in Pepto-Bismol pink, but a quick respray fixes that. They're still available on sites like eBay for a reasonable price last time I checked. (I was going to do one in white, and another in wood finish) I'd have to say it's one of the closest if not actual scale of any I've seen out there.

Wow! Seriously? I just looked, couldn't find one on ebay, but did find someone selling them for £12 on aliexpress. For that price, I'll take a chance. Hopefully it'll get here.
I see what you mean by pepto bismol pink. It is exactly that colour. I don't have a spray gun, but I am sure I can find a spray paint can, and give it a few coats out in the garden when the wind is down, and it isn't raining. Thanks mate.

I used a semi gloss engine enamel as I was going for the non-polished 'Suede' look for my Baby Grand. If you want the highly glossy look, I'd go for a gloss plastic paint. I'm sure you'll love the Gloria Piano. It's a gem and true to scale for a Baby Grand. It details up nicely as well.
This discussion has me rethinking that White Piano concept. Lol

I felt the semi-gloss was better for a stage piano, and it photographs better.

I agree. It looks great. Over in the UK, I can see Matt, and Gloss. No Semi-Gloss, although there is Satin, which I know has a slight sheen to it. I think I might have to go for Satin.

Satin would be a semi-gloss. The can I use is by Dupli-Color Low Gloss Black DE1634. It's my go to color.

Of course, that's a US brand. I'll go for the Satin I saw on Amazon. I am sure it'll be fine. Thanks again.

No No NO.... You can't have a Guitar Marshall amp micing a piano... You need a keyboard amp for that...
Alternatively, it can be mic'd up and patched into the house PA.
