Scott wanted to see what I was doing at BTCV so he came Hedgelaying with me earlier this week

You can see where some of the guys have already been unfortunately where we've been working is still waitiing to be laid so isn't much to look at although I've not got to do as much hedgelaying as I'd like since people get so concentrated on what they're doing that they don't want to shift their brash result in big piles that need shifting ... Neutral

He says he can't understand why I'm taking photos of the 'Midget Men' he says he's much more exciting and photogenic then they are Rolling Eyes

Fortunately for him the little fella hasn't heard Scott grumbling about him and is quite intrigued by the arrival of this 'clumsy giant man'

Great photos as usual DrDalek6 Very Happy, I'm sorry but I have to agree with Scott Laughing Scott is much more exciting and photogenic then the playmobil BTCV helper guy. I bet the playmobil BTCV helper did just stand there watching instead of helping Scott up. Scott must be learning a lot from watching you work at BTCV . Oh can I just say I love Scott's hat Very Happy .

Very nice & well done pictures Scott , Your very lucky to be able to take your lil fella's into work with you. I am in the same position & it goes towards putting that little bit of fun into an otherwise long day.
Great upload.

Thanks mate I like them both equally, Scott's much more poseable although the Playmobil fella is easier to take out with me and he's the BTCV mascot so he gets about, that's the thing though if you can put the time and effort in you can get very different and equally impressive results photographing from an AM's prospective or from a Plamyobil mans prospective.

They both like watching and learning (Scott and the little guy are both just wiaitng for som saw and lopper in the apppropriate scale so they can help out Wink don't trust them with our billhooks Shocked), and the Playmobil men took it upon themselves to act as quality control. In the lttle fellas defense as well his helping hand probably wouldn't have done much to help Scott he'd probably have fallen off the hedge Very Happy

Indeed I've mastered the basics of cutting nearly through the branch without snapping it off completely (I'm sure my Supervisor would saw straight through the branches deliberately to wind them up) as for knowing how to lay it my understanding on that is minimal basically obey the instructions of someonewho knows what they're doing and try to learn from them but, I do quite enjoy it as I say though getting distracted with moving brash Surprised
