Those drill sergeants are intidating! I don't think I would have lasted long in the army.
The windows are fantastic! I really like the way those frames fit perfectly in the openings! And the double-layered frames to sandwich in the screen material was a brilliant idea. No unsightly edges to the screening, and the screens can't fray.
And no split timbers... yet!

The windows are great! I'm sure in Nam they had plenty of mosquitos, and the mesh should hold them at bay, especially during the night.

Great stuff Chip. I look forward to each new chapter. The hooch is moving along at a far better pace with a little motivation. Great idea for the screen windows as well. Hope the beer arrives soon so the Sarge's can take a well deserved break. All that yelling must have them ready for a cold Bud...
