Responding to a post on another forum, I took some photos of this Modern Action Man vehicle. I think it's basically based on the the Rhino jeep (what it was called in the US) but I thought it was a nice vehicle. As I recall I got this years ago from an ebay seller in Australia. Shipping seemed a bit high at the time, but no more than it costs to send something here in the states currently.
This vehicle is missing 2 or 3 parts, but I like it. The roof is molded to show boxes and equipment, and it has two missiles that are fired by the yellow buttons on top.
Since I photographed it to share on another forum (after digging it out) I decided to post it here. Even though being in a box for some time it still gathered a bit of dust. I hope someone likes it.

I’m really liking the pictures you have done to show off your MAM orange SUV.

Thank you Alexander.
I forget what the vehicle is called. When the SUSA site was up, I found out what it was called, but that site seems to have been shut down.

Nice vehicle Daryl, thanks for posting the pics. And thanks for posting a pic of the box, Alex.
When you first mentioned this at FHQ you said you thought it was a Hummer, but I don't think your memory is incorrect. I think there was an orange AM vehicle that was like a Hummer. It sort of opened up into some kind of mobile HQ. It was a pretty cool vehicle too. Maybe Alex remembers that one, or maybe my memory is totally wonky.

Very rugged looking rig! How well do figures fit inside? Do they look as good seated in the vehicle as the box art suggests?

Gibri, it had been a while since I had looked at it.
But I think you are right, I seem to recall seeing a photo of a MAM vehicle that opened to a mobile HQ. But it was a while back. I think I saw it at susa.com. That was a great reference site for MAM. Unfortunately it seems to no longer be around.
I don't remember what kind of vehicle it was, but it could have been a hummer.

Dave,
Yes they should look as good as the box art suggests. This vehicle seems to be based on the Joe Rhino. Joe's fit great in the Rhino. I will be honest I haven't actually put a figure in this one, I got it when I was on a buying spree, and boxed it once I got it. But the base vehicle is the same and figures fit well in the Rhino.
I need to dig out my Rhino and Strike Cycle. They were made to fit together, the cycle has a bar that you can use to push it around, but also works as a towing bar to hook it to the Rhino.

The big orange MAM vehicle that opened to a mobile HQ that was called Team Truck HQ.

Great looking jeep Daryl. It has a great design and looks to be taken care of. I must say I really never knew AM, just G.I. Joe till I joined the board but I love to see them from others however. Good pics and stuff dude

Well I for one like it Daryl. It's a shame that so few of the MAM vehicles get posted here. Of course they suffer in comparison to other later releases in detail and such, but they ARE what was available to kids and I'm sure were highly desired articles at the time. Thanks for posting. Wouldn't mind one myself. Trouble is 1/6 is a large scale and my motor pool is a bit overcrowded even now! I did however, just buy a bike! P.S. I also like the dust!!!

Thank you LeStryge!
I completely understand 1/6 is a large scale, my motor pool takes up a lot of space for me as well!
As far as dust, this vehicle has been in a box so it didn't have near the dust the Power Team helicopter had. The helicopter was sitting out for years, it wasn't in a box at all.
Took a little time to clean it up!

That’s a great looking vehicle! You don’t see either the Joe or action man versions much. There was a Rhino at a comic show a few years back, but that’s about it around here.
