Dick Moon Marine Sniper . Pic Heavy .

I got my inspiration from the photo in the link below . His name is Dick Moon , but there was little else I could find out about him , except that he was in Hue city when this was taken . The black thingy in his helmet band , are the caps for his scope . I scratch made these for my figure . The ammo bandolier differs from the M16 ones , and I believe it is an old WWll M1 bandolier , which holds the clips for his Sniper rifle . He carries a revolver just in case things get close , the rest is pretty much standard NAM Marine Gear .

Chip I’m really really liking all these outside pictures of Dick Moon Marine Sniper. Especially the close up shots of him looking through the sniper lens. You should definitely enter one of these in this month’s photo of the month competition for sure.

@ Sarah , the rifle is from one of the high end sets that came from the SOTW of Formative figures as I think they were also known I believe . The rifle has a working bolt , I hope to paint and improve on it one day , but I am a little apprehensive , as it will be very hard to trace another if I messed it up .    You can also find the rifle with Dragons Winona figure , I think  Daryl posted about her ? Though her version does not have the wood work .

I just had to have a another look at all these pictures because they are just so excellent Chip .
