| Table centre set up for Halloween with small scale Scooby Doo figures and the Haunted House. (There are quite a few more villains not shown in the picture.) |

| Zoiks! Is that really your seasonal table centerpiece? You must have the most fun house in the neighborhood! Probably in the town! _________________ ... DAVE

I try,.......I do try! Have to admit, people can be not so subtle asking for invites. Even as a kid, when Halloween per se. was not really celebrated here in Australia, I really liked spooky figures and stories. Back then you could buy these wonderful books which when cut out and assembled made all sorts of wonderful things. Functioning little theatres, dioramas of model farms, Roman encampments, even haunted houses. I loved 'em! |

Thanks Dal! I am constantly fascinated by the background graphics in the early Scooby Doo cartoons. Most of the time they are painted entirely in just the one colour, namely Prussian Blue. It's an amazing colour to work with that gives so many tones depending on how much you dilute it. |
