Really enjoyed reading this chapter Dal. Let’s hope they locate Wolf and put him in handcuffs as well as rescuing Doctor Sid.

Tibias is Jake's direct superior, right? What if, in response to Jake's insubordination, Tibias relieves Jake from command of BAM-HQ?

And then replaces Jake with who appears to be his new most favored operative: Demitri Redbox!

Could that be what Tibias has in mind? Is that why Redbox has been so "nice" to Jake? Is that why Tibias has been so evasive?

I thought the transition to the "new actors" in the roles was handled smoothly. The change was briefly acknowledged through a bit of repartee about working out and hairstyles, and then the story moved right along after establishing who these two different-yet-familiar characters were. I thought it was handled well, somewhat like when a new artist takes over a comic strip and brings a different illustration style.

If Jake got fired from BAM HQ, Kamiko would immediately give him a job at Kimono Station, and Bond-Fleming would ensure that General Nishizumi at SIMON confer the SIMON equivalent of double-O rank on him. I think Tibias knows this.
